Sasha is a 1999 graduate from Harvard Law School. He started his career in Palo Alto, where he worked for Cooley. Then, in collaboration with NYU Professor Andre Fenton, a world leading brain scientist, he co-founded Bio-Signal Group. He later joined Microsoft in Munich and then moved to the company’s headquarters in Redmond, where he was Microsoft Head Lawyer for public sector worldwide.
In 2014 he joined Akamai as the head of the EMEA legal department. As a member of several management teams at Microsoft and Akamai, he led companies’ growth strategy across the world, opening new markets, bringing in new technologies and services. As a lead attorney, he had handled major technology deals with national governments and organizations, such as NATO, UN and European Comission. After the breakout of a war in Ukraine, as a member of the international technocrat team, he served as the First Deputy Minister of Economy and Deputy Governor in the country of 40 million. He speaks seven languages and is admitted to professional bars in the EU and in the state of New York.
